Creation in wake of Duality

This world is ruled by the principle of Duality. To comprehend it better lets us understand that the manifestations take place in the dual world. So, we need to get a firm grasp on the ideas of duality and nonduality to manifest our desires. Our mental state in the dual environment and our reaction (energy creation), in the same.

Creation in wake of Duality.  Why is there so much emphasis placed on the discussion of these dual and non-dual states? The concept of duality, or the lack of it, is something that can only arise while we are physically present in this body. Actually, duality is the basic rule of the living being’s existence. The concept of non-dualism, also known as monism, is typically contrasted with dualism, with dualism being defined as the viewpoint that the universe and the nature of existence consist of two realities, such as God and the world, or God and the Devil, or mind and matter, day and night, sunny and dark, and so on. Everything is dual in this existence. Have you ever wondered what was present, when the universe was not present, i.e. before the Big Bang? It was “Shunya” “Shunya” is again a very complex term that is simplified by definition in Sanskrit, which means “Shunya” as “Nothing”. So what is this nothingness? When the universe was not present, it was only pure consciousness and this pure consciousness is non-dual. So you must have got it now that, the very base of the existence of the universe is dual in nature.

Many of us talk about and follow the concept of non-duality, but what is nonduality in the wake of duality? In order to practice non-duality, we have to take the ladder of duality or constantly enquire about our existence, like Shri Raman Maharishi, who preached self-inquiry in wake of non-duality. Self-inquiry places you on a pedestal where you constantly question your existence by enquiring about your existence and then, when the duality breaks for you, things are clear and non-dual. You break this matrix of duality.

We all are here in this Dual world, which is God’s best manifestation, to manage our energies, in this dual world so as to create the life we always wanted. Isn’t it a coincidence that you have picked up this book to create the life of your dream, then what is it that you don’t like in your own life? The fact that you want to alter this other aspect demonstrates that it is nondual world. To apprehend it easily, let us see this in terms of energy. In terms of energy, it can be thought of as either a high or low vibration, as either positive or negative energy. However, keep in mind that once we destroy the barriers of this matrix, we will merge into non-duality, and all of the complexities of the universe can be boiled down to a single, overarching reality called “Shunya.” (nothingness or Infinity)

Creation in wake of Religion.  In terms of “Sanatan Dharma,” which is followed by all Hindus, the “Purusha” (Male Energy) and “Prakriti” (Feminine Energy) need to be understood in wake of duality and non-duality.  Though this idea is quite complicated to be understood or digested by a few of us. Still, to comprehend this concept better, the reasoning from the religious point of view is important to be understood. Purusha, or the masculine principle, is credited in the “Vedas” with being the originator of all forms of life. It is the core of one’s being, their spirit, that is both timeless and immortal. This, too, is unadulterated Consciousness. This places constraints on the creative process because any designation of Purusha originates from Prakriti, which is feminine. When not manifested, Prakriti is infinite; however, it does not function (Unconscious). Prakriti was never active and possesses a harmonious balance of all three qualities (Sattva, Rajas and Tamas). When Prakriti comes into contact with Purusha, this equilibrium is disturbed, and as a result, Prakriti manifests in the form of twenty-three distinct types of tatva. These are the intellect (Buddhi, Mahat), the ego (Ahamkara), and the mind (Manas); the five sensory capacities; the five action capacities; and the five “subtle elements” or “modes of sensory content” (tanmatras). From the five “subtle elements” or “modes of sensory content” (tanmatras), the five “gross elements” or “forms of perceptual objects” emerge, which in, the union of “Purusha” and “Prakriti” is the cause of the development of a living being (in this case, a human being). (Energy that is equal parts masculine and feminine) Because of this, life has a dual quality. The masculine quality resides in consciousness, which is constructed through the combination of various cognitive processes. The masculine is incapable of being destroyed; however, it cannot be objectified and cannot be determined. The feminine is entirely mental and psychological in nature. Aspects of the body include the sensorial, emotional, and physical components.

Both “Purusha,” the God, the Father, and “Prakriti,” the Goddess, the Mother, are inseparable. Even though the mother is not in any way reliant on the Father, she also does not have an independent existence of her own. Because of this, they work together to both create and maintain. Therefore, we need to understand that the creator and the creation are one and the same and that they cannot be separated; this is the reason why we say that God is present in everything.

If you remember, I told you at the beginning that we are reading about duality and non-duality so that we can remain in this illusion or Matrix but bend it like we want it by manifesting our dream life. Take, for instance, the practice of meditation, in which we concentrate on the objective of transcending either duality or illusion. We picture something, such as a Hindu meditating on Om, a Christian meditating on the cross, someone else possibly meditating on light, etc. Therefore, this imagination in and of itself is an illusion that we seek refuge within; this is Prakriti, also known as the divine Mother, and we then concentrate on this illusion. Through our consistent practice of meditation, the mother will gradually reveal herself to us at our pace of meditation.

The duality is the most significant product of this “Maya” also known as an illusion. “Shankaracharya” (A Hindu Guru) provided a wonderful explanation for this phenomenon, stating that “Illusion always appears real but is really not so.” Absolutely, the illusion is a fleeting vibration, wave, or energy in this consciousness that is brought about by our desire or our aversion. Even though it possesses some degree of formation, we cannot refer to it as reality because it is neither completely nor indefinitely stable. Considering that we are an integral part of the illusion, how can we possibly comprehend it? The mind will never be able to comprehend its own “Maya,” or capacity for illusion. Yes, it is possible, but we must first give up our resistance and become one with the world around us. In order to accomplish this, we need to go beyond both our ego and existence itself. But we want to make the most of this illusion so that we can live a happy and successful life in this world where there is no duality. It is not a crime to maintain an illusionary existence and to manipulate that existence in accordance with your whims. This is the case because, if everything is divine, then even illusion must be divine in order to make sense. Therefore, we will begin with the premise that when everything is divine, all is God, and the question of what is absolute and what is relative becomes moot. If you are in tune with Maya, you should not avoid or shun her in any way. The only thing that needs to be done is to get in step with nature’s “Maya” rhythm and flow in harmony with her. This is the key to successful manifestation. The disease is the result of disharmony in the body, mind, and spirit; this demonstrates that we are not in tune with either our spirit or god. Therefore, the key to successfully manifesting is to maintain a state of resonance with reality.

Let’s get a better understanding of this by looking at some examples. Imagine that you are living in the fifteenth century and someone sneaks a television and a hard disc into your room. The hard disc contains all of the information about science and anything else that has been invented up to this point in the twentieth century. You at that point will be impressed by the finish of the LCD or the shape of the hard disc, but you will be unable to plug it in and play it in order to access all of the information. The computer hardware and software are there, but you are unable to make use of them because you do not know how to retrieve the information.

I am here to assist you in connecting the LCD and inserting the hard disc so that you can connect to the information that is already available and develop those inventions that have not yet been developed at that point in time. Therefore, let us bring into existence the life we envision for ourselves and become the architects of our own existence by bringing our lives into harmony in every respect so that we can move in step with the beat of the natural world. It is necessary for us to gain awareness of non-dualism and the absolute. We will never have a true understanding of dualism until we are first awakened to the reality that there is no such thing as dualism. It is inevitable that we will never escape the dream of cause and effect, after which we will philosophize it to the point where we believe it to be true.
