-Khechari Mudra-
The spiritual world is Khechri Vidya. And the Khechari coin is a part of it. What Hatha Yoga Pradipika says about the Khechri coin is that the word “B” means sky, Khe means in the sky, Char means the one who moves is called Khechari. It can be bird, or moon-sun-star. Khechari mudra is a mechanism by which we can wander in our Chittakasha or Mind-Akasha, Chidakasha at will. Hatha yogis say that the saint should, with his tongue reversed, insert it into the cranial cavity and gaze steadily between the eyebrows. This is called Khechri Mudra. To perform Khechri mudra, the tongue should be lengthened. And to lengthen this tongue, the skin on the bottom of the tongue should be cut with a sharp blade. It should be cut slowly. (Although it is said in the book, try to rub the vein under the tongue by rubbing the middle part of your index finger without a weapon. At present, it may be dangerous to cut with a weapon.) The vein at the root of the tongue should be cut on the first day. And every morning and evening for seven days, the torn place should be rubbed with Saindhav Churn and Haritaki. Some say, without applying sindhak, rub with khair and haritaki powder. Every 7 days should be cut like this and rubbed with khair and haritaki powder. In this way, once every seven days for six months, the root nerve of the tongue should be cut. While cutting in this way, once the root of our tongue has a vein that is closed to the rasna connection in the cranial cavity, the bond of the nerve will be cut. Before practicing this Khechri mudra, you can practice this mudra while sitting in a comfortable meditation posture. Better yet, you should practice sitting in Padma Asana Siddhasana, or Vajrasana. Sit in any asana and take a deep breath and bring your hands to your knees. You can hold Jnana Mudra. Now, slowly roll your tongue back so that the bottom of the tongue touches the upper palate of the mouth. Extend the tongue inward and inside the mouth. Try to reach as far as possible. The idea is to cross the hard and soft palate of the mouth and bring your tongue inside the nasopharynx. Practice this in a range where you feel comfortable. Breathe as deeply as possible without straining yourself. Practice Ujjayi breathing. Practice this mudra for as long as possible. Try to Once you feel that you can’t do it anymore and your tongue is tired, come back without straining yourself too much. Before doing this, practice Mahamudra, Mahabandha, and Mahavedha Mudras. We have to practice these three yogas daily, once in every watch, eight times in eight watches. If the Khechri Mudra Sadhaka has extended his tongue while performing this incision, the tongue should be turned in the opposite direction i.e. the tongue should be turned upside down and touched at the confluence of the naridraya i.e. the confluence of Ira-Pingla and Sushumna Nadi. This point of confluence of three nadis is called vyomachakra. Hatha yogis say that by staying in this state for just one hour, disease can conquer death. Even if he is bitten by a poisonous snake, it will not harm him. To control the hormones, it will get rid of hunger, thirst, sleep and even fainting. A Sadhak of Khechri Mudra cannot be bound by Karmaphala. That is, the saint can rise above time. While performing this mudra, the saint has to keep his mind locked between the eyebrows, as a result, he always wanders in the air. Even in this state the sadhaka cannot be retted. That is, naturally he becomes celibate. At this time, Chandramrita i.e. started drinking the dissolved sudha through the palatal hole. Hatha yogis say that a yoga devotee can conquer death within 15 days. The yogis say, just as the flame never leaves the oil-filled vartika, the fire never leaves the wood, so the soul never leaves the moon-filled body. Here the word go refers to the tongue. When that tongue enters the palate, the beef is eaten. When the tongue enters the palate, heat is generated in the body, and as a result the sudha or rasamrita that oozes from the moon i.e. from the sky is called Amarbaruni. A mule coiner has a long tongue. And the tip of that long tongue constantly secretes saliva that is alkaline-bitter-acidic-honey-flavored and tastes like milk. The Yogi can fill our voice with the molten juice from Murdha by Prana Vayu while thinking or meditating on the Parasakti with his face raised and the tongue restrained in the forehead cavity. Hatha yogis call this kantha desha, the pure chakra, which is the sixteen-petalled lotus. One who drinks this rasa becomes disease-free throughout his life and possesses a body like a tender lotus. The hole or akasha between both Meru and Murddha has cool juice. The Tattva that is there, i.e. Brahmatattva, is called the face or main place of Brahman. That juice is secreted from the broad ira nadi located on the left side of our body. And it is by this rasa that disease is produced and the degenerate person dies. Therefore Hatha Yogis close the entrance of diseases in the body with this Khechri mudra. It is a good way to stay healthy. Hatha yogis have mentioned many such ways or mudras, which are an invaluable resource of our Indian spiritual yoga. But the point is, these are all guruvidyas. It has to be practiced in the presence of Guru. And finding these Gurudevs is rare. But if you understand your body and practice a little bit of yoga, we can definitely realize its benefits. And an interest may be awakened in us to master this science. Then we will surely find a way.
